All Systems Electrical is hiring a Service Manager to lead our Industrial Conveyor Maintenance operations, including Preventive Maintenance (PMI) and Corrective Maintenance teams. We specialize in maintaining and servicing large-scale conveyor systems across industrial, warehouse, and distribution environments.
This position plays a critical role in keeping our clients’ conveyor operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. As Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing field teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing project timelines, and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Conveyor Service Oversight:
- Direct all service activities related to industrial conveyor systems
- Supervise PMI and corrective maintenance on high-volume, fast-paced systems
- Ensure field teams follow industry best practices and client-specific standards
- Track service performance and proactively address issues to reduce downtime
Team Leadership:
- Manage and schedule service technicians across multiple job sites
- Track labor hours, job costs, and material usage for service efficiency
- Lead training programs to ensure technicians meet technical and safety standards
- Conduct employee evaluations and assist with recruiting and onboarding
Safety & Compliance:
- Perform on-site safety inspections on conveyor maintenance activities
- Ensure Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) are properly completed daily
- Investigate incidents and enforce corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and internal safety policies
Field & Administrative Duties:
- Provide hands-on technical support for conveyor service issues when needed
- Review and approve work orders, documentation, and technician timecards
- Maintain service tracking systems and reporting tools
- Assist with ordering materials, organizing tools, and supporting field operations
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience managing service or maintenance teams
- Background in industrial conveyor systems or similar mechanical/electrical equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA and job site safety requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Welding experience (Arc or MIG)
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of other trades (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Industrial job sites (warehouses, distribution centers, production facilities)
- Work may involve hot, cold, or humid environments
- Stand and move for up to 12 hours/day
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces
- Travel and occasional overnight stays required
- Exposure to high/low voltage systems and rotating equipment
